Dominoes is a game people of all ages enjoy. So we know that some of our players will be young, and we design the game with that in mind. This page explains our age limit, protected mode for ages 13 to 17, what parents can do and how we protect children's safety.

1. Age limit: 13

2. Ages 13 to 17: protected mode

If you are 13 to 17, the game automatically runs in protected mode. In protected mode:

TopicWhat happens
AdsOnly non-personalised ads are shown; the ad network is told you are a minor. We do not ask for personalised-ad permission
Analytics and crash reportsWe do not ask for permission; this data is not sent
Announcement notificationsNot sent. You only receive notifications about your own matches, if you allow them
Profile photo and nameModerated with a stricter threshold
PurchasesBefore a purchase, an extra note reminds you that you are paying with real money and that what you buy cannot be used at tables
AkçeBefore you sit at a table, a note reminds you that Akçe has no real value and cannot be bought or cashed out. After a loss, the only "win it back" offer is an optional ad that gives back half of the entry, with no new stake

Protected mode turns off by itself at the end of the year in which you turn 18. Because we only know your birth year, this may be a little after your birthday, to stay on the safe side.

India: in India everyone under 18 is considered a "child". If you are in India and under 18, protected mode lasts until you are 18. We ask that you play this game with the knowledge and consent of your parent or guardian.

3. Safe design for everyone

Apart from protected mode, we designed the game for all players as follows:

4. For parents

5. Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

If a child is in danger right now, first call the emergency number where you are (112 in Türkiye and the EU, 911 in the US).
