How to play dominoes
Tabula Domino plays classic draw dominoes with a double-six set. The rules guide in the app shows the same steps on a real table.
- Choose who you play with (people in a quick game, friends or bots), the table (2, 3 or 4 players, or partners) and the target score: 25, 50, 75 or 100.
- Everyone gets 7 tiles from a set of 28. The rest form the boneyard: 14 tiles with two players, 7 with three, none with four.
- In the first round, the player holding the highest double opens with it. After that, the winner of the previous round starts with any tile.
- On your turn, put down a tile with a number that matches one of the two open ends of the line. If nothing fits, draw from the boneyard until something does; if the boneyard is empty, you pass.
- The first player to put down their last tile wins the round and scores the pips left in the opponents' hands; partners score the other team's pips. If nobody can move, the lowest hand wins and scores the others.
- Rounds go on until a player, or a team, reaches the target score and wins the match.

Quick games, friends and bots
- Quick game: you are matched with players near your rating. These tables take an entry in Akçe; the entry and what each place receives are shown before you sit down.
- Friends: set a private table and share its code or invite link; friends sit down with the code. You choose the move clock: 30 s, 60 s or no limit. No entry.
- Bots: Easy or Normal, any time, with no move clock and no entry. Bots are always marked BOT and never change your rating.
- Rematch and quick chat: ask for a rematch when a match ends, and greet the table with preset phrases and emoji; there is no free chat.
- A dropped connection does not end the match: you rejoin the table where you were. Leaving a match counts as a loss.

Questions people ask
How do you play dominoes?
Each player gets 7 tiles from a double-six set. In turn you put down a tile that matches one of the two open ends of the line; if nothing fits you draw from the boneyard, and you pass only when it is empty. Whoever puts down their last tile wins the round and scores the pips left in the other hands. The first to reach the target score (25, 50, 75 or 100) wins the match.
Can I play dominoes online with friends?
Yes. Set a private table, then share its code or an invite link; your friends join with the code from their own phones. Private tables take no Akçe entry, and whoever sets the table chooses the move clock: 30 seconds, 60 seconds or no limit.
Can I play with 3 or 4 players, or 2 against 2?
Yes. Tables are for 2, 3 or 4 players, each playing for themselves, or for partners: 2 against 2, with your partner sitting opposite you. Partners score together.
Am I playing real people or bots?
In a quick game you are matched with real players. You can also play bots on purpose, at Easy or Normal, and if nobody joins a quick game the game may offer to start with bots. Bots are always marked BOT, and games with bots never change your rating.
Is Tabula Domino free?
Yes. The game is free and paid for by ads: a small banner in the menus and an ad between some matches, limited in how often it appears. No ads are shown during a match or when the app opens. An optional one-time Ad-free Pack, bought through Google Play, removes them and adds the Modern and Luxe table themes; rewarded ads stay optional.
What is Akçe? Can I buy it?
Akçe is the game's currency, and it can only be earned: by playing, from a daily gift and from optional rewarded ads. It cannot be bought, cashed out or sent to another player, and it has no real-money value. Quick-game tables with people take an entry in Akçe; tables with friends and bots are free.
Does it work offline?
No. Tabula Domino is an online game: every match, games against bots included, is played on our servers, so you need an internet connection. If your connection drops for a moment, the match carries on and you rejoin where you were.
Do I need an account or an email?
No email, phone number or password. You can play as a guest with a display name you choose, or sign in with Google so your account comes with you to another phone; we take the first name and photo of your Google account once, never its email address. A guest account that was never linked can only be opened from the phone it was created on.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, tap Settings → Account and profile → Delete account. Your account is frozen at once and deleted after 14 days; until then you can cancel. Without the app, email privacy@tabulastudios.com; the account deletion page explains both ways.
Which languages is the game in?
The game's screens are in English, Turkish, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French and Arabic (right to left). It follows your phone's language, and you can change it under Settings › Language.
Which devices does it run on? Is there an iPhone version?
Android phones and tablets with Android 7.1 or newer. The game is played in landscape, with the table laid out for phones and tablets alike. There is no iPhone version at the moment.
What is the minimum age?
You must be at least 13. Players aged 13 to 17 play in a protected mode: only non-personalised ads, no analytics or crash reports, and an extra note before any purchase.
